WordPad
Learning is about more than one right and three wrong answers. So why restrict your choice of student response solution, to a "voting" system"?
Most interactive classroom technologies – whiteboards, slates, visualisers and the
rest - are all about helping teachers get a point across. But WordPads put
student ideas and actions right at the heart of learning.
By involving students in lessons with WordPad, teachers can track class and individual student progress and address
misconceptions. Most of all however, WordWall and WordPad allows teachers to involve students actively. And because it’s not just A-B-C-D, it’s not just about
things being right or wrong.
With WordPad, every single child answers. Even the most shy and reticent child is
heard.
Using WordPad:
Students contribute answers and ideas directly to your WordWall activities, composing their own answers with phone-style texting and then
submitting these to the WordWall.
Students see challenges and questions right on their handset screens. Questions can be assigned to students accounting for differing needs. Students can answer at their own pace. Each student can be assigned a tile on the WordWall into which text can be sent. Students interact from their seats using the joypads and text to participate.
The WordPad supports foreign
languages and renders mathematical and scientific notation accurately.
WordPads are just easy - just plug and play. There’s no ID, channel or
port setting. Plus, its two AA batteries last up to two years –
four times longer than the competition. Combine class sets to use in an
assembly - then break them down again. The sets automatically
regroup themselves - no configuration, no hassle.
